This garment is hand-embroidered in traditional Palestinian tatreez by women artisans in Al Baqaa’ Refugee Camp in Jordan.

We partner with Boqaa, an embroidery collective working to preserve Palestinian craft while creating dignified, fairly compensated work for displaced women. Each piece is produced slowly and in small quantities, honoring both the lineage of the embroidery and the hands that carry it forward.

Tatreez is not decoration — it is generational knowledge passed from mother to daughter, sustained even in exile.

The Saru Falastin motif draws from the cypress tree — a symbol of steadfastness deeply rooted in Palestinian land and memory. Its geometric form carries the quiet strength of continuity, stitched deliberately over the heart.

Crafted on a heavyweight olive-toned fleece, the silhouette is relaxed and understated — allowing the embroidery to speak softly, yet firmly.
